About Us
We run a small, multi-family homestead on about five acres, tucked away in the heart of Central Florida.
Over time, we’ve shifted from weekly grocery runs to intentional, homegrown living—gradually replacing store dependence with soil, sunlight, and a little sweat equity. While we still enjoy traditional gardening (with the occasional modern twist), we try to follow a permaculture approach whenever possible. Mother Nature usually knows best.
Our children are homeschooled with the hope of raising eco-conscious, compassionate individuals with a mindful outlook on the future. They're lucky enough to grow up surrounded by more animals than some petting zoos—though we do hear frequent complaints when it's time for chores. (Fair enough.)
We raise AKC-registered, purebred, DNA-tested German Shepherds and Siberian Huskies—equal parts brains and beauty. Our cats are just as impressive: TICA-registered Siberians and Maine Coons who rule the roost with fluffy dignity.
Add in a proud flock of Buff Orpington chickens, waddling Pekin and Rouen ducks, and a crew of mixed-breed rabbits, and you've got yourself a daily dose of delightful chaos. Oh—and let’s not forget the twenty or so neighborhood cats who’ve claimed their own designated hangouts here. Yes, we have a soft spot.
Friendly reminder: please spay, neuter, and TNR your local cat crew. It takes a village—and ours already has plenty of whiskers.
